Finsbury Park, London, England
This is a design for a minimal housing project, comprising six buildings, each 12 by 4 metres of size, with two storeys for two different occupants. In the tradition of terraced houses in England, the buildings have two gardens, one at the front and one at the back. The private space is kept minimal, consisting of two capsules which are suspended from the ceiling and contain, respectively, a bed and room for personal belongings. It is the shared space that is given priority in this dwelling. Each house opens to a yard in the middle. Two opposing units share a patio. The yard, which is only accessible from the west, is structured by these terraces.
