Camouflage

Camouflage /// Kronprinzenstraße, Stuttgart, Germany

We approach the task of integrating a building into the city‘s context by analysing all colours that exist at the chosen site and converting them into a camouflage pattern created by ourselves (we took a picture describing the use of the structure and converted it into camouflage). It is a jogging path, contrived to mirror the underground parking system of the street, with the goal to animate the office workers – who, along with the shoppers, make up the majority of people passing frequently through this area – to work out more. The camouflage pattern merges into a 3D-cubature that allows running as well as relaxing on the structure.
